Looking ahead to a busy quarter at Granada
With significant contracts achieved over the summer, Granada are looking forward to delivering on major orders across all areas of the business this coming quarter.
Following a further substantial order for a world-leading aircraft manufacturer, Granada continue to grow their aerospace business with contracts on schedule for pre-Christmas installation, as well as delivering significant bespoke crane and handling contracts in the manufacturing sector. Crossing Granada’s diverse product range, the company’s installation team will be busy delivering multiple crane and gantry packages, including a 5te crane, 3 x 10te cranes, and a 35te crane – all with freestanding gantry steelwork.
With three large wind farm contracts in build, the offshore teams are equally busy. Granada have already delivered nearly 60 davits from an order of 175 to the DONG Hornsea project, as well as 70 davits from the 84 ordered for the Beatrice Wind Farm, and delivery of fully hydraulic cranes will commence shortly for the Scottish Power East Anglia 1 Wind Farm.
Looking forward to the next quarter, Mark Sidwell, director at Granada, commented,
“We are extremely pleased with the breadth and scope of contracts won and being successfully delivered across all areas of the company. That we have such a range of prestigious clients, with significant orders, is testament to the dedication and the expertise of all our staff – from our Rochdale headquarters to our Broughton base and our engineers on-site at wind farms throughout the UK.”
