Granada Material Handling, the lifting equipment specialists has recently become the sole UK outlet for the ‘Fezer’ VacuPowerlift handling units. The units come in seven different sizes depending on the load needed to be lifted. This ranges from 30kgs up to 120kgs and anything from barrels to boards.
The VacuPowerlift is an efficient solution to all sorts of work station based repetitive handling problems. The system, based on a self-evacuating tube, can be supported from a jib crane or for larger area coverage a light weight crane system. The design of the system is the same for each product to be lifted except the lifting tube suction foot. The suction head is product specific so if the application involves the handling of paper sacks then the unit would be supplied with a bespoke sack foot to grip the bag. Similarly if the product is an mdf board then the lifting foot would incorporate a number of adjustable pads to allow for differing board sizes.
