When a prestige car company needed to look at a more efficient method of assembling certain parts of their vehicles, they turned to Granada to assist them with their problems. They needed to install seats weighing in at 40 kg and doors weighing 45 kg to their vehicles but were restricted with space to mount lifting equipment.
We solved their problem by using a single Granada LiftAssist Manipulator with separate tooling for the door and the seat. The manipulator that operates using a simple standard air supply (6 bar) has been a great success with the operators.
